Public Safety video gains nationwide popularity

Today, in interesting stuff found in the dark corners of rarely-visited Columbia websites, we present an informational video from Public Safety on how to prevent crime on campus.

Pretty informative, right? There's even a quiz afterwards, if you're dying to relive the days of AlcoholEdu.

But wait, there's more! Considering how useful some of the tips are (remembering to lock your door, unfortunately, is something freshmen forget all too easily) and "Jimmy's" boyish good looks, no wonder other colleges paid to have their day in the greenscreen limelight.

The same video gets customized for UIUC.

And Creighton.

And even Brown.

So chalk up another blockbuster filmed on Columbia's campus. Ghostbusters, eat your heart out.

looks like they did a pretty good job of cutting out the backgrounds in the green scened shots. maybe columbia sold the video to them and let them mess with the original footage?

Like half way through the video this kid rapes a girl. It was sort of funny until that happened and then it was really disturbing.
