A bit too busy for an event tonight? The Lion received a tip about the upcoming Second Annual Celebration of the Paper Bag Puppet. During the event being hosted in the basement of Claremont Hall, students will be able to craft their own puppets and potentially use them in some improvisational performances.

The tipster noted that “This year’s Celebration of the Paper Bag Puppet is being held in conjunction with Columbia’s Office of Residential Programs. Beyond calling attention to puppet crafts, the event has higher ambitions. According to organizer Daniel Stone, “much attention at the university is given to mere consumption of the arts. In these precious two hours we aspire to produce!”
